Nasturtium Vesuvius

by Maureen Sullivan on April 17, 2014

Full sun.  14 to 16 inches. Habit is compact and mounded. Vesuvius features deep salmon flowers set against deep, blue-green foliage.  The plant is edible. Use it to spice up your salads with the peppery taste of the flowers and  leaves.  Avoid adding too much nitrogen fertilizer to your planting as this will reduce flower bud production and encourage soft foliage growth.  Grow in moist but well drained soil.
