Salvia-GruppenblauSun. 24 to 30 inches.  Long, strong, thin spikes of deep lavender blue flowers provide flower stems all summer long. Frequently mistaken for lavender by people who are unfamiliar with this plant. Salvia Gruppenblau dries easily. Prefers fertile well drained soil. A versatile plant Gruppenblau can be used in the border, as a container plant and as a cut flower.
