Viper’s Bugloss, Blue Bedder / Echium

Echium Viper's Bugloss wsFull sun. 18 to 30 inches. Upright stems are covered with lavender-blue blossoms with pink buds and red stamens. Flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies. Viper’s Bugloss self-sows for flowers next year.  Deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings.  Viper’s Bugloss will do well in well-drained soil. Avoid direct skin contact with this plant.  Blooms heavily up until frost.
