Full sun. 18 to 30 inches. Upright stems are covered with rose-pink blossoms with . Flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies. Viper’s Bugloss self-sows for flowers next year.  Deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings.  Viper’s Bugloss will do well in well-drained soil. Avoid direct skin contact with this plant.  Blooms heavily up until frost.

Full sun. This Cornell release is one of the sweetest acorns, flesh dry and substantial. Despite compact bush habit, heavy yields of 1–1-1/2 lb fruit.

Winter Squash Delicata

Sun. This squash is cream-colored with dark green and orange stripes running the length of 7-9″ long, 3″ wide, 1 1/2-2 pound fruit. The flesh is delectable and extremely sweet. A bit butterscotchy. This squash requires no curing and is sweet right after harvest.

Winter Squash Honeynut

Do you love butternut squash but find them too large?  Try Honeynut butternut. Weighing in at one to one-and-a-half pound fruits these diminutive butternuts have a tan brown skin when fully ripe.  Plant early to give this squash a long growing season.  Fruit picked with green on the skin will continue to ripen while in storage.

Winter Squash Waltham Butternut

Sun. The Waltham strain sets the standard for butternut squash. The skin is light tan-colored when ripe. It has a small seed cavity and thick, cylindrical necks. Average fruits weight is 4-5 lb. The flesh is smooth-textured and reaches its peak sweet flavor after 2 months’ storage.

Zinnia Aurora

Full sun. Height 30 to 40 inches.  Aurora is a stunning zinnia. This variety’s two-toned blend of apricot, butter-yellow, coral, gold, orange and pink colors is reminiscent of a gentler time. The blossoms are 4 to 6 inches. Very showy in an understated way.

Z. Benary Deep RedFull sun.  3 to 4 feet. Benary Giant zinnias are the standard for cut flower zinnias.  Providing long, strong stems for cutting and large 3 to 5 inch blossoms, Benary Giant zinnia is the most reliably double and fully double flower form of cutting zinnia available.  Benary Giant zinnias are not only for the cutting garden.  Work them into the border as well for an abundance of  color throughout the summer and right up to the first frost.
