A delicious Italian frying pepper, Carmen ripens to a luscious carmine red when it is at the pinnacle of sweetness. Its uses go beyond frying, it makes an excellent roasting pepper (which freeze beautifully), as well as for grilling and salads. Fruits average 6″ long.
